What we collect

What we collect includes, for example:

• Your account, such as your name, email address and a hash of your password.
• Your projects, such as their files, comments, suggestions and version history, and who they’re shared with.
• Your plan and subscription status. Stripe handles payments; we never see your card number.
• How the product is used, such as pages visited, clicks, errors and session recordings, with your paper text, file and project names, people’s names, emails and anything typed into a field masked.

Who processes it

Companies that process data for us include:

• Cloudflare: hosting, database and file storage.
• Stripe: payments.
• PostHog: product analytics.
• [email provider]: email delivery.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how the product is used. For example: a session cookie, and PostHog’s analytics cookies.

Deleting your account

Delete your account under Settings → Account. If you’re on a paid plan, cancel it first. Deleting your account also deletes every project you own, for everyone it’s shared with.

Children

JointDraft is not for anyone under 16.

We may change this policy at any time. Changes take effect when posted here, and the date above changes.
